I really enjoyed doing this shoot - I've been wanting to try this kind of picture for awhile but never actually just went out and did it... so thanks guys for giving me a reason ( and a deadline haha)
I could see how you'd think its a bit cliche. First thing I thought of when Gord suggested sunset/sunrise as a topic, was a silhouette against the sunset. But I thought of doing something like skateboarding or whatever, so we each had our own take on it. But even though its kind of cliche I still love it. It portrays a great mood and its very pretty.
yeah i just think its a bit unoriginal doing the silhouette against the sky... i just hope that my model/horse/positioning/sky combination is enough to make it unique.
i think the reason i love the one on your facebook is because it looks like the girl and the horse are connecting. also, the deep blue sky in that one photo contrast so well with the warmth of the sunset too anyhow~ great job mine will probably be posted next sunday
